Best Balm

Just a quickie... this lip balm rocks! It's full of pomegranate oil and keeps my quite dry lips really soft. I normally hate tinted lip balms but this one gives a gentle rosy hue that just looks like the colour your lips should be. It is also perfect for putting over a deep pink lip liner to get a smudgy, berry coloured, bitten looking lip.
It's a gem...

Fantasies and Frocks

Look at these shots! They are from the gorgeous Papier Mache online kids magazine. It's fabulous...like a fashion concept mag for kiddies, although probably more enticing for the Mummies I suspect!

So.Very.Lovely.

Rainy Day

It's pouring down so it's a day for chic umbrellas (love this pagoda style one) and cups of tea from nice pots!

A Lovely Weekend

We went to the country. We walked along remote little roads, we went to markets, we sat in tiny pubs, we ate a lot! Here are some pics for you...

Us three...

The most amazing smoked mackerel from the Midleton Farmers Market...

Delicious pots of various hummus and dips...

The chicken house (or palace!) at the Ballymaloe Cookery School where Ivan is studying...

Beautiful gardens full of wild flowers and little secret places...

Me at the pond!

And We're Off...

Myself and Lu are off on our road trip to see Ivan in Ballymaloe where we'll celebrate his birthday on Sunday and I'm very excited. I'm feeling summery and am looking forward to picnics and walks and paddling and sneaky glasses of cool white wine in the afternoons!

'Summer is the time when one sheds one's tensions with one's clothes, and the right kind of day is jeweled balm for the battered spirit. A few of those days and you can become drunk with the belief that all's right with the world.' ~Ada Louise Huxtable

Have a great weekend my dears!
