Pretty Polish

I am currently sporting this very pretty soft blue nail polish called Up in the Air by German brand Catrice. If you haven't spotted this newly re-packaged, excellent budget brand yet, I would drop what you are doing and run out and find it in a pharmacy near you. It's price point is fantastic - the polish is €2.79, and everything else is great quality with a wide shade range. I really rate their blushers, shadows, gel eye liners and brushes... Go!

White & Grey

One of my very favourite interiors combinations: white and grey together are the epitome of cool chic... How gorgeous is the heart!

I have a thing for blackboards, both because I think they look lovely and create a sweet art space in a home but primarily because they help my addled Mummy brain remember the things I have to do!

I wish I was sitting at this table writing this post!

Isn't this window amazing! Why have walls when you can have massive windows letting the light in... I love how it almost lets the garden flow into the house...

Floaty Weddings

I love the work in these amazing gowns... the detail and attention to the cut and flow of the fabric in this Vera Wang dress is superb.

I would love to see a bride wear this cute Marchesa dress, it's so sassy, floaty and unusual...

Isn't this just amazing... My mind boggles at how you would even start cutting this stunning fabric. It's so light, like angels wings...

Shine On...

I've always thought that a top coat is a top coat, is a top coat, if ya get me! As in they are all pretty much the same - just another layer of clear gloss to enhance the polish and seeing as they all chip after three days on me, I've never really been that moved by them. I did try out this new Nail Shine Miracle by Sally Hansen though and it does seem to last and it's really shiny. So  much so that it makes my cheaper polishes last at least three days longer than before. They claim it lasts for ten days, but it gives me six and that's ok by me!

Hello Again

My dears, forgive my unscheduled absence from Ellie Loves... Due to some ill health and it's ensuing fatigue I have been literally unable to find lovely things to post for you. It was as though I lost my mojo for a while and needed to absorb into the arms of my family for a while (although a lot less glamorously than the clan above I can tell you!) I do hope I'm back at the races now so sorry to let you down and the concerned emails from some of you wondering where I was were sweet - how nice of you to ask after me!
