Toasty

I love checking out the new seasonal campaigns from Toast...their Christmas images are always so evocative and romantic.

I really want this gold paper bunting for my house...

Sweet, old-school hot water bottle covers...

I just like this shot - no real reason!

So Sweet

I came across these shots and thought they were so cute. They tell the story of this little girl and her adventures with her doll in Paris...

Breakfast รก deux...

How cute is her nightie!

Love this!...

(v sorry but can't remember where I saw these)

The Ballerina Project

When I was younger I was obsessed with ballerinas and used to love drawing them; I still have some of my notebooks filled with my doodles of them! That obsession is still within me, I just love the beautiful lines of a ballerina in a pose...so beautiful.
So when I came across these shots by The Ballerina Project I was quite excited!

The project is a New York collective that have come together to create some fine art photographs using their combined skills as fashion designers, photographers and dancers.

They are all shot in urban landscapes that use NYC as the backdrop and almost as a character within the shots.

They have such a modern grace...

I think this is an iconic image that could become one of those shots that ultimately everyone recognises. They sell the shots via their Facebook page and auctions on eBay.

Louis' Lovelies

I'm really drawn to the A/W campaign for Louis Vuitton. I love the old school elegance and glamour of the styling and of course the three supermodels Natalia Vodianova, Karen Elson and Christy Turlington. They were chosen for their beauty (obviously) but also to represent women in their 20's, 30's and 40's. Imagine looking as amazing as Christy in your 40's. Wow! She continues to blow my mind in every campaign she does. She is heaven to look at...

I'm also crushing on the makeup and hair styling. The makeup by Pat McGrath is so beautiful. I love the soft shading and contouring and the highlighting on the cheekbones and temples is divine. It is very much the style I try to emulate when I'm working; I'm not a makeup artist who likes to over-work a face or use really strong colour...less is best and luminous is lovely in my view! The eye makeup in this campaign is so elegant with no hard shading or eye lines...it's all about a soft wash of colour to enhance without taking over the face. Soft focus makeup lets your inner beauty shine through...it might sound naff, but it's the truth!

I Love Lily

I came across these stunning pictures of Lily Allen the other day. I think she looks amazing...

I didn't like her when she first appeared on the music scene but I have to admit that she has really grown on me both musically and sartorially. She has a great look and her collaboration with Chanel was a good move...

I think she will be around for a long time and will be someone to keep an eye on. As she gets older I think she will get more interesting (like us all!)

I love the makeup too...

The beautiful pictures are by Natalie Brewster...

A Beautiful Girl

A while ago I did the makeup for a shoot for the A to Z children's charity with this lovely model Laragh from 1st Option models. I just came across the shots as I have been choosing pictures for my new professional website that a almost finished (woo-hoo!)

Hasn't she such poise and amazing expression in her eyes? She has gone on to be very successful, shooting top international campaigns. No wonder...she is beautiful.

Fantasies and Frocks

Look at these shots! They are from the gorgeous Papier Mache online kids magazine. It's fabulous...like a fashion concept mag for kiddies, although probably more enticing for the Mummies I suspect!

So.Very.Lovely.

Isn't She Lovely

I have a bit of a thing for Emma Watson; she has a great look and she is definitely one to watch in the sartorial stakes. She is doing very exciting shoots and working with fantastic photographers. These first two are by Patrick Demarchelier...

I love this sequence for Teen Vogue...she is a great model and the styling is ah-maz-ing!

It's a long way from Hogwarts!

Ethereal Kate

These are my favourite shots of Kate Moss EVER. When they were published in Vogue a few years ago, I cut them out and framed them! They are still gracing one of the walls in our bedroom. I love them...
Beautiful ghost...

Like some sort of fashion angel...

Check out the rest of this amazing photographers work here.
