What a great city full of wonderful, creative decent people. What a terrible sequence of dark days and nervous nights you are experiencing at the hands of these louts. It is frightening and so sad to see people terrorised by their own youth. It was always the threat of outside terrorism that people were alert to... no-one ever thought they would be set upon by their own. I am hoping for a resolution for all of the decent people; the police, the fire-fighters and the ordinary people who are just trying to live their lives and do their work peacefully.
Dear London and the rest of England, I am sorry for your troubles...
